Let’s imagine that you’re a course creator and you want to automate the process of enrolling people into a course when they fill out a form created using one of the most popular form plugins called Gravity Forms.

So let’s create a workflow in SureTriggers to automate this task!

You can create this workflow in a few simple steps if you have connected SureTriggers with your site as instructed above in this article.

Step 1: Setting Up Gravity Forms Triggers

1. Go to the SureTriggers dashboard
2. Click on create new workflow button
3. Give a unique identifier name to this workflow and start building
4. Click on Add Trigger button
5. Select the trigger app as ‘Gravity Forms’
6. Select trigger event as ‘Form Submitted’
7. For Select Connection, choose the site where you have Gravity Forms plugin installed. Make sure have SureTriggers plugin installed on the same site.
8. Select the form through which you want to add the user to the course.
9. When you see the ‘We are waiting for the “Form Submitted” event..’ message, submit your form with test data.
10. When SureTriggers has fetched the form response, click on the save button at the bottom of the screen to save this step.

Step 2: Create WordPress User

To enroll people in the Tutor LMS course, we have to register the person filling the form as a user on your site. You can follow the steps below to create the user:-

1. Click on the plus icon to add an action step that would be executed when Gravity Form is submitted.
2. Select action app as WordPress and action event as Create/Update User
3. Select the site where you want to create this user. Make sure that the Tutor LMS plugin is installed on the same site.
4. Add the required information from the previous steps in the fields as instructed on the screen. Your WordPress user will be created based on this information.
5. Perform a test action
6. Once the test action is successful, save this step.

Step 3: Enroll The User In Tutor LMS Course

1. Click on the plus icon to add an action
2. Select the trigger app as ‘Tutor LMS’
3. Select trigger event as ‘Enroll User Into Course’
4. Select the site where you have Tutor LMS installed.
5. Select the course in which you want the user to be enrolled.
6. Map the email address of the WordPress step in the email field
7. Perform the test action and save the step.

That’s all! Your automation is ready. You can publish this automation on your site so whenever someone fills the selected form, they’ll be enrolled in your course!
