How to Set up Webhooks in Timely?

Timely’s AI-powered time tracking software helps teams track their time accurately to report client, project, and work hours easily.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Timely to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Timely

1. Log in to the ‘Timely’ Dashboard.

2. Click on the profile icon at the bottom of the screen and select the “Edit Profile” option from the opened dropdown menu.

3. Under the ‘Webhooks’ section, click on the “New Webhook” button.

4. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the “Url” field.

5. Now select the ‘Subscriptions’ as per your trigger. For example, if you’re setting up a webhook for the “Forecasts Created” trigger, then you need to choose the “forecasts:created” subscription.

6. Make sure the ‘Active’ checkbox is checked.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Timely account.
