How to Set up Webhooks in GrowthBook

GrowthBook is an open-source platform designed for feature flagging and A/B testing. It empowers businesses to manage the rollout of new features, experiment with website and app changes, and measure the impact of those changes on key metrics.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in GrowthBook to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in GrowthBook

  1. Log in to your GrowthBook account.
  1. On the left side of your dashboard, navigate to the “Settings” section, and click on “Webhooks”.
  1. Then click on the “Create an Event Webhook” button.
  1. Enter the webhook name.
  1. Choose the method as POST.
  1. Copy the Webhook URL from trigger flyout and paste it into the “Endpoint URL” field.
  1. Now select the event from the ‘Events’ dropdown according to your trigger. For example, if you are setting up a webhook for the “Feature Created” trigger, you need to select the “feature.created” event from this dropdown.
  1. Click on the “Create” button.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your GrowthBook account.

Connect GrowthBook with Other Apps

If you want to connect GrowthBook with other apps that you use to automate processes, you must check out SureTriggers!

GrowthBook Integration can help you automate processes like:

  • Notify on slack channel when new feature created in GrowthBook.
  • Track newly added features from GrowthBook in Google Sheet.

These are just some random examples of automation. SureTriggers can do a lot more!
