How to Set up Webhooks in Viral Loops

Viral Loops is a powerful referral marketing platform designed to help businesses grow through word-of-mouth campaigns. It offers customizable templates for creating referral programs, viral giveaways, and pre-launch campaigns that boost user engagement and acquisition. With Viral Loops, companies can effortlessly incentivize sharing, track performance, and amplify their reach.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Viral Loops to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Viral Loops

  1. Login to your Viral Loops account.
  1. Click on the edit button of the campaign in which you want to set up a webhook.
  1. Click ‘Integrations’ from the bottom navigation links.
  1. Click on ‘Webhook’.
  1. Now, on the ‘Integrations – Webhook’ page, turn on the event according to your trigger. For example, if you’re setting up a webhook for the ‘New Participant’ trigger, you need to turn on the ‘When someone joins your campaign, you can send their submitted data to a webhook’ event.
  1. Now, copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the ‘Endpoint for participation event’ field.
  1. Click on the ‘Send a test request’ button to send the test response on the trigger flyout.
  1. Click on the ‘Save’ button to save the webhook.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Viral Loops account.
