How to Set up Webhooks in ZipWP

ZipWP streamlines WordPress site creation by offering ready-to-use templates that can be shared via a URL, simplifying the process for users and developers. It supports easy customization and distribution, making it ideal for sharing designs with clients or collaborators. The platform also includes features for tracking and updating shared blueprints, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in ZipWP to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in ZipWP

  1. Login to your ZipWP account.
  1. Now go to the Blueprints page and click on the ‘Edit Blueprint’ button for the blueprint in which you want to set up the webhook. If no blueprint is present, create a new one by clicking on the ‘Create New’ button.
  1. Now, inside the ‘Update Blueprint’ popup, click on the ‘Email Collection’ tab.
  1. Toggle on the “Collect email” option. Select the information you want to collect, such as name and email. You can toggle off the information you don’t want.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it inside the Webhook URL field.
  1. Click the “Update” button.
  1. Now, to test the webhook response, first copy the blueprint URL.
  1. Open it in an incognito window. You will see fields to enter the details your users would enter. Fill out the details and click the ‘Launch Website’ button. After that, check the trigger flyout for a response.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your ZipWP account.

Connect ZipWP with Other Apps

If you want to connect ZipWP with other apps that you use to automate processes, you must check out SureTriggers!

ZipWP Integration can help you automate processes like:

  • Whenever someone uses a blueprint, pass the data to the designated Google Sheet.
  • Whenever someone uses a blueprint, pass the data to the slack channel.

These are just some random examples of automation. SureTriggers can do a lot more!
