How to Set up Webhooks in Voiceflow

Voiceflow is an intuitive platform for designing, prototyping, and building conversational AI experiences without coding. It allows users to create interactive voice and chat applications for various devices, providing a visual interface for seamless design. Voiceflow supports collaboration and testing, making it ideal for teams working on complex conversational projects.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Voiceflow to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Voiceflow

  1. Login to Voiceflow App account.
  1. Create a new project or select an existing project.
  1. Configure the flow logic of your project. Then click on the ‘Edit Workflow’ button for the workflow in which you want to set up a webhook.
  1. Click on the ‘Add a Step’ button on the respective card.
  1. Now, on the Buttons flyout, click on the ‘+’ button near the ‘Actions’ option.
  1. Click on ‘API’.
  1. Then select the request URL> POST.
  1. Copy the Webhook URL from the trigger flyout & paste it under the URL field.
  1. Configure your data as you wish to POST.
  1. Click on ‘Send Request’ to send the test response on the trigger flyout.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Voiceflow account.

Connect Voiceflow with Other Apps

If you want to connect Voiceflow with other apps that you use to automate processes, you must check out SureTriggers!

Voiceflow Integration can help you automate processes like:

  • Send custom API responses from Voiceflow to a dedicated Slack channel.
  • Add custom API responses from Voiceflow to Airtable as records.

These are just some random examples of automation. SureTriggers can do a lot more!
