How to Set up Webhooks in UpKeep

UpKeep is a cloud-based maintenance management software, ideal for streamlining the workflow of maintenance and operations teams. Designed for sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, education, and property management, it centralizes tasks such as work order management, asset tracking, and inventory control. UpKeep’s mobile-first approach allows teams to collaborate in real-time, improving efficiency, accountability, and overall maintenance visibility across dispersed locations..

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in UpKeep to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in UpKeep

  1. Login to your UpKeep account.
  1. Click on Settings in the left sidebar, It will redirect you to UpKeep Settings.
  1. In the left sidebar, navigate to the Advanced section and click on Webhooks to access webhook settings.
  1. Click Add Webhook.
  1. Specify a unique Title for the Webhook.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the “Endpoint” field.
  1. Check if the “Let me choose individually” option is selected. If selected, an event checkbox list will appear, allowing you to select your desired trigger type(s) from the available options.
  1. Once your webhook is created, it will be in “Inactive” status; click on “Inactive” to activate it.
  1. Don’t forget to toggle on your trigger to activate the webhook and make it usable.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your UpKeep account.
