In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Toggl Track to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Toggl Track

  1. Login to your Toggl Track account.
  1. On the sidebar, go to Manage > Integrations.
  1. Click on the ‘Webhooks’ tab.
  1. Click on the “+ Create your first webhook” button.
  1. Enter a name for this webhook.
  1. Choose the event based on your trigger. For example, if you are setting up a webhook for “Client Events,” select “Client Created/Updated/Deleted” from the events dropdown.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the “URL Endpoint” field.
  1. Click on the “Add webhook” button.
  1. Now, read the instructions from the next popup. It says the webhook is successfully created, but additional validation is necessary. After reading, click on the “Okay” button.
  1. To validate your created webhook, click on the three dots menu and select the ‘Test’ option from the dropdown to send the validation response to SureTriggers.
  1. Then, go to your trigger flyout and copy the “validation code URL” from the trigger response. Paste it into another tab in your browser and hit enter. Your webhook is now validated, and you can create and execute workflows without any issues.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Toggl Track account.
