How to Set up Webhooks in Planning Center

Planning Center is a suite of online software tools designed for churches to streamline their operations and enhance community engagement. In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Planning Center to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Planning Center

  1. Go to https://api.planningcenteronline.com/webhooks link.
  1. Click on the “Add A New Subscription URL” button.
  1. Copy the Webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it inside the “Endpoint URL” field.
  1. Now select the event from the “Events to listen for” section according to your trigger. For example, if you are setting up a webhook for “Publishing Events,” select one or more events from the ‘Publishing’ category.
  1. Click on the ‘Save’ button.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Planning Center account.
