How to Set up Webhooks in Paddle?

Paddle is a SaaS platform that provides a complete solution for payments, tax, and subscriptions for software businesses. It simplifies and automates billing operations, helps with global tax compliance, and integrates with various systems and tools.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Paddle to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Paddle

1. Login to your Paddle dashboard.

2. Navigate to Developer Tools > Notifications.

3. Inside the Notifications page, click on the “+ New Destination” button.

4. Now, add a description for your webhook in the ‘Description’ field.

5. Select Notification type as a ‘Webhook’.

6. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the ‘URL’ field.

7. Now, scroll down and select the event related to your trigger. For example, if you’re setting up a webhook for the “Customer Created” trigger, choose the “customer.created” event from the ‘Customer’ section.

8. Finally, click on the “Save destination” button to save your webhook.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Paddle account.
