How to Set up Webhooks in Mautic

Mautic is an open-source marketing automation software that helps marketers to communicate with their audience, giving a personalized message at the right time.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Mautic to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Mautic

  1. Login to your Mautic dashboard.
  1. Open the right-hand side menu (click the cog icon in the top right corner) and select Webhooks.
  1. Click on the “+New” button.
  1. Provide a name and description for the webhook.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it inside the “Webhook POST Url” field.
  1. Now, choose the event from the “Webhook Events” section based on your trigger. For example, if you are setting up a webhook for the “Contact Created” trigger, you need to choose the “Contact Identified Event” from this section.
  1. Click on the “Save & Close” button to save the webhook.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Mautic account.
