How to Set up Webhooks in Ghost

Ghost is a powerful, open-source platform designed for professional publishing, offering creators and developers the tools to build websites, newsletters, and subscription-based content. In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Ghost to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Ghost

  1. Login to your Ghost.org account.
  1. Navigate to the left sidebar and click on the gear icon.
  1. Go to Advanced > Integrations.
  1.  Click on the “Add custom integration” button.
  1. Provide a name for your integration and click on the “Add” button.
  1. In the pop-up that appears, click on the “+ Add Webhook” button.
  1. Add a name to the webhook and select the event according to your trigger.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout, paste it into the Target URL field, and click the “Add” button.
  1. Click on the “Save” button.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Ghost account.
