How to Set up Webhooks in Flock

Flock is a communication app for teams that speeds up and simplifies your work life. It lets you connect with your team, get on video calls, and manage projects with to-dos, polls, and reminders. All of this and more over an interface that’s polished to perfection!

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Flock to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Flock

  1. Login to https://dev.flock.com.
  1. On the sidebar, click on ‘Webhooks’.
  1. Click on the ‘Add’ button for ‘Outgoing Webhook’.
  1. Set the “Channel” where the webhook should look for messages to send to an external service.
  1. Provide the webhook with a name.
  1. Copy the above webhook URL from the trigger flyout, and paste it into the “Callback URL” field.
  1. Click on ‘Save Settings’.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Flock account.

Connect Flock with Other Apps

If you want to connect Flock with other apps that you use to automate processes, you must check out SureTriggers!

Flock Integration can help you automate processes like:

  • Create a task in ClickUp based on messages received from Flock channels.
  • Create a task in Asana based on messages received from Flock channels.

These are just some random examples of automation. SureTriggers can do a lot more!
