How to Set up Webhooks in FeatureOS

FeatureOS is a comprehensive tool for managing customer feedback, allowing users to collect, analyze, and prioritize feedback through customizable feedback boards. It also offers robust product roadmap and changelog tools, helping teams plan, showcase, and notify users about new updates. FeatureOS integrates seamlessly with various platforms, enabling streamlined workflows and improved customer engagement.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in FeatureOS to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in FeatureOS

  1. Login to your FeatureOS account.
  1. Go to the “Organization Settings”.
  1. Click on ‘Webhooks’.
  1. Click on the “Create New Webhook” button.
  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout & paste it under the “Endpoint URL” field.
  1. Give a suitable webhook description.
  1. Now select events according to your trigger. For example, if you’re setting up a webhook for the ‘Post Created’ trigger, you need to select the ‘postCreated’ event under the ‘Post Events’ section.
  1. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your FeatureOS account.

Connect FeatureOS with Other Apps

If you want to connect FeatureOS with other apps that you use to automate processes, you must check out SureTriggers!

FeatureOS Integration can help you automate processes like:

  • Send created changelogs from FeatureOS to the Slack channel.
  • When changelogs are published in FeatureOS, send a message on WhatsApp.

These are just some random examples of automation. SureTriggers can do a lot more!
